<USER MODE>



ENTRY CONDITIONS OF THE ADJUSTING MODE



  1. Set switches to the following states:

  • Driver’s door switch: ON (driver’s door open)
  • Key reminder switch: ON (ignition key removed)
  • Lighting switch: OFF
  • When the windshield washer switch is kept ON for 10 seconds or more (pull the wiper lever toward you), the combination meter built-in buzzer will sound once, and the adjustment mode is entered. With this status (keep the wiper lever pulled toward you), the setting can be switched each time the transmitter unlock switch is pressed.

    • ADJUSTING THE SECURITY ALARM FUNCTION




    1. Security alarm function disabled (initial state): Buzzer sounds once.
    2. Security alarm function enabled (main warning: hazard and siren): Buzzer sounds three.

    RELEASE CONDITIONS FOR THE ADJUSTMENT MODE




    • The driver’s door switch is turned OFF (driver’s door closed).
    • The key reminder switch is turned OFF (ignition key inserted).
    • The lighting switch is turned ON.
    • The windshield washer switch is turned OFF.
    • With the transmitter unlock switch not pressed, when 30 seconds have elapsed.
    note
    1. In order to enter the adjustment mode, the wiper/washer switch and the transmitter must be operated. However, the wipers/washers or the keyless entry system will not work at this time.
    2. The customisation method is also described in the Owners Handbook to help users to make the adjustments themselves.
    3. This function must be set after the user’s preference is sufficiently confirmed. (In order for the user to understand the function, it is preferred that this function be set by the user.)
