Inspection Procedure 5: The Door Lamps does not Illuminate Normally.
caution | Whenever the ECU
is replaced, ensure that the input and output signal circuits are normal. |
COMMENTS ON TROUBLE SYMPTOM |
The door lamps are energised through the ETACS-ECU. If a door is opened, the relevant
door lamp will illuminate. |
If this function does not work normally, these input signal circuit(s) or the ETACS-ECU
may be defective. |

STEP 1. Connector check: F-07 door lamp (front: LH) connector, F-13 door lamp (front: RH) connector, F-19 door lamp (rear: LH) connector, F-27 door lamp (rear: RH) connector |

Repair the defective connector. |

STEP 2. Check the bulbs of the door lamp. |
Check that the door lamp bulbs are not burned out. |

Replace the door lamp bulb. |
