- If the diagnosis code P0172 is output while the vehicle is idling, let the
vehicle idle for more than 20 minutes.
- If the diagnosis code P0172 is output while the vehicle is running, let the vehicle
run with the same conditions of the freeze frame data, such as the vehicle speed, the crank angle
sensor and the coolant temperature sensor, for more than 10 minutes.

After replacing the oxygen sensor (front), go to Step 12.

- If the diagnosis code P0172 is output while the vehicle is idling, let the
vehicle idle for more than 20 minutes.
- If the diagnosis code P0172 is output while the vehicle is running, let the vehicle
run with the same conditions of the freeze frame data, such as the vehicle speed, the crank angle
sensor and the coolant temperature sensor, for more than 10 minutes.
