The steering wheel sensor is sent to ASC-ECU via the CAN bus lines.

If the steering wheel sensor determines that its incorporated yaw rate sensor has a trouble,
it sends the diagnostic signal to the ASC-ECU. When ASC-ECU receives this diagnostic signal,
it determines that the sensor has a trouble and sets the diagnosis code.

Use the M.U.T.-III to diagnose the CAN bus lines.

Repair the CAN bus lines (Refer to GROUP 54C - CAN Bus Diagnostics Table ). On
completion, go to Step 2.

Recheck if the diagnosis code is set.

|
(1)Erase the diagnosis code.

(2)Turn the electric motor switch from "LOCK" (OFF) position to "ON" position.

Replace the hydraulic unit (integrated with ASC-ECU) (Refer to ).
