Check whether the diagnosis code is set by the ETACS-ECU (lighting switch). |

STEP 2. Connector check: B-305 ETACS-ECU connector, B-104 radio and CD player connector |

Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 3. |

Repair the connector concerned. |

STEP 3. Check the wiring harness between B-305 ETACS-ECU connector terminal No.1 and B-104 radio and CD player connector terminal No.4. |

Go to Step 4. |

Repair the wiring harness. |

STEP 4. Replace the radio and CD player temporarily, and check the trouble symptom. |
Substitute the ETACS-ECU with good one. When the tail lamps illuminate, check that the
illumination of the radio and CD player is switched from day mode to night mode. |
