Code No. P2263: Supercharging pressure System Malfunction

FUNCTION

  • The engine-ECU checks whether the intake air for the engine is sufficient or not by monitoring the amount of intake air.

TROUBLE JUDGMENT

Check Conditions
  • Engine speed is more than 3,000 r/min and is less than 5,000 r/min.
  • Throttle position sensor (main) output voltage is more than 2 V.
Judgment Criterion
  • Volumetric efficiency is less than 100 % for 2 seconds.
FAIL-SAFE AND BACKUP FUNCTION
  • None.

PROBABLE CAUSES

  • Failed supercharging pressure control system
  • Failed supercharging pressure
  • Failed engine-ECU

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
