Pre-removal Operation
  • Drive Belt Removal (Refer to GROUP 11G - Engine Assembly ).

 Post-installation Operation
  • Drive Belt Installation (Refer to GROUP 11G - Engine Assembly ).
  • Drive Belt Tension Check (Refer to GROUP 11G - On-vehicle Service, Drive Belt Tension Check and Adjustment ).

REMOVAL SERVICE POINTS

<<A>> POWER STEERING OIL PUMP REMOVAL
1.With the hose installed, remove the power steering oil pump from the bracket.
2.After removing the power steering oil pump, secure it with a cord in the location where the removal and installation of the engine assembly cannot be hindered.

<<B>> ALTERNATOR ASSEMBLY REMOVAL
Remove the alternator assembly from above the vehicle.
