REGULAR CHARGING CONTROL SYSTEM CIRCUIT





PROBABLE CAUSES



  • Damaged wiring harness or connector(s)
  • Malfunction of the charging cable
  • Malfunction of the combination meter
  • Malfunction of the domestic power supply facility

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE


STEP 1. Charging lamp check


Connect the charging cable and check if the charging lamp flashes when the electric motor switch is set to "ON".

Q. Is the check result normal?


    Intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction .)
Check the charging cable. (Refer to .) Then go to Step 2.

STEP 2. Connector check: G-03 regular charging connection, G-04 earth connector


Q. Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 3.
Correct the connector, or replace the charger cable (regular charging). (Refer to .)

STEP 3. Measure the resistance between the G-03 regular charging connection terminal No. 4 and G-04 earth connector terminal No. 3.


Check the signal lines for open circuit. Do not connect the charging cable.
(1)Measure the resistance between the G-03 regular charging connection terminal No. 4 and G-04 earth connector terminal No. 3.
OK: 2,430 - 2,970Ω (at 20°C)

Q. Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 4.

    Correct the wiring harness or replace the EV charger cable (regular charging). (Refer to .)

STEP 4. Check the trouble symptom.
