REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION


warning For removal and installation of the passenger’s side air bag module, always observe the service procedures described in GROUP 52B, Driver’s Air Bag Module <Except for RALLIART> or <RALLIART> to Passenger’s (Front) Air Bag Module .
Pre-removal and Post-installation Operation
  • Refrigerant draining and Refilling (Refer to Charging and Discharging ).
  • Engine coolant replacement (Refer to GROUP 14, on-vehicles service <4A9>, <4B10>, <4B11-Turbo> or <BWC>).
  • Steering column shaft assembly Removal and Installation (Refer to GROUP 37A, Steering Column Shaft <Power steering> or GROUP 37B, Steering Column Shaft <Electrical power steering>).
  • Instrument Panel Removal and Installation (Refer to GROUP 52A, Instrument Panel ).
  • Floor console Removal and Installation (Refer to GROUP 52A, Floor console ).

REMOVAL SERVICE POINTS

<<A>> SUCTION PIPE AND LIQUID PIPE DISCONNECTION
caution As the compressor oil and receiver are highly moisture absorbent, use a non-porous material to plug the hose and nipples.
To prevent the entry of dust or other foreign bodies, plug the dismantled hose and the nipples of the expansion valves.
